Ethics, academic honesty and anti-corruption policies

The basic principle of education at Satbayev University (K.I. Satpayev KazNITU) is academic honesty. Since 2018, Satbayev University has been a member of the League of Academic Honesty of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consistently implementing the policy of improving the quality of education, countering plagiarism, and fighting corruption in the system of higher education. The principle of academic honesty is implemented through the monitoring of students' performance of written papers, examinations, and evaluation. To regulate the processes, the university has adopted the «Rules of Academic Honesty», defining the types of violations of academic honesty and the procedure for taking measures in case of their occurrence.

As part of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025, Satbayev University ensures the conditions in which employees and other individuals can work within the principles of honesty and objectivity in resolving production issues and forming personnel, regularly monitors the effectiveness of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy and protects individuals who have filed reports of possible corruption from any form of pressure.
